FIRST Robotics International Championship Event in Atlanta Georgia

By winning the NH Regional Championship in March, the team received an invitation to attend the International Championship in Atlanta, GA and compete against 360 teams from the United States as well as many other countries. Team 1276 worked many long hours fundraising so the whole team could attend this prized invitation. On April 29th, Kaizen Blitz placed 8th in the qualifying rounds after competing against 86 other teams in our Galileo Division. After four rounds Team 1276 was unable to make it to the final qualifying round. Although disappointed, the honor of competing into the final rounds brought much satisfaction to the hard working team. The experience of meeting so many contestants, sharing the same goals and sharing the whole experience of FIRST in Atlanta will be a memory not soon forgotten and a goal to work for in the coming year.
